He did his post-graduation in physics and served Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira\, Belur Math as a Vice Principal and Vivekananda Centenary College\, Rahara\, as a Principal. He took classes for two decades\, served as Secretary of Agartala\, Malda and Saradapitha Ramakrishna Mission Centres.  He is currently serving as Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math\, Cossipore. He imparts orientation courses in University of Calcutta and Burdwan University. He has been motivating jail inmates of West Bengal for more than 20 years so that they can join the mainstream society.
